Stephen King Calls Netflix’s #1 Most-Watched Horror Movie “Very, Very Scary”

Right next to the deep, dark void of the ocean, my greatest fear revolves around heights. Have me look down from a window just three stories up, and my stomach will turn in on itself. That scene where Tom Cruise climbs the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol? My absolute nightmare. Audiences must share that fear because Fall is currently the #1 horror movie streaming on Netflix.

The film centers around adventure junkies Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), who find themselves stuck at the top of a 2,000-foot TV tower when the climb goes wrong.

Fall is so utterly terrifying that even genre master Stephen King wishes he had written it, as he posted the following Tweet four years ago. He called it “tight, terrific, and very, very scary.”

If you’re up for taking the Fall, stream the film now on Netflix and get ready to kiss the ground once it’s over.

Want more Fall? Well, good news, as Harriet Slater (Outlander: Blood of My Blood), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), and Tom Brittney (Grantchester) lead the cast of the anticipated survival thriller Fall 2, which wrapped principal photography in Thailand earlier this year, according to Deadline.
