Strictly speaking, Aliens, Clowns & Geeks isn’t a horror movie. But when you have intergalactic, face-painted freaks looking to destroy the planet (not to mention a dude with “the key to the universe” stuck up his ass) you’re going to get some love from Dread Central. Aliens, Clowns & Geeks follows Eddy Pine (played by Bodhi Elfman), an out of work actor and lothario Casanova who finds himself in a very uncomfortable situation (remember that “key to the universe” I mentioned earlier?). Suddenly at the center of interstellar mayhem, he crosses paths with amorous Swedes, a mad scientist played by French Stewart, and (of course) legions of extraterrestrial clowns! The colorful horde is commanded by Emperor Beezel-Chugg played by diminutive actor Verne Troyer in one of his final film roles. We also get George Wendt as a priest and Angeline-Rose Troy as a junkie mother; plus Aliens, Clowns & Geeks sees Richard Elfman and his wife Anastasia Elfman in multiple cameos.

Aliens, Clowns & Geeks is equal parts irreverent satire, raunchy comedy, and surreal fever-dream; a nonstop thrill-ride that will have you clutching your stomach with laughter. It’s great entertainment and perfect for chasing away the COVID-19 Blues. Simultaneously a love letter to Hollywood and a self-deprecating send-up of the entertainment industry, the film is a 90-minute party you’ll be glad you attended!
Aliens, Clowns & Geeks isn’t for everyone–but horror fans aren’t known for being easily offended. This is one of those films that can’t be compared to anything else–a uniquely bizarre experience with the ability to enrage, enthrall, but mostly entertain! Don’t miss it!
