LA: FORBIDDEN ZONE: DIRECTOR’S CUT and ALIENS, CLOWNS & GEEKS Drive-In Double-Feature on January 30th

While movie theaters remain potential hotbeds for the Coronavirus, drive-ins are offering a safe alternative for cinephiles–and Los Angeles area genre fans can look forward to one hell of a good time on January 30th!

The Valley Film Festival is holding a double-bill drive-in event featuring the works of madcap virtuoso Richard Elfman. You can check out Forbidden Zone: Director’s Cut and Aliens, Clowns & Geeks at the Regency Theatres Plant 16 in Van Nuys. The event is scheduled for January 30th kicking off at 6 PM (PST). Forbidden Zone Synopsis:
The bizarre and musical tale of a girl who travels to another dimension through the gateway found in her family’s basement.

Aliens, Clowns & Geeks Synopsis:
An out-of-work actor stumbles upon the key to the universe and is drawn into an intergalactic war between clowns and aliens.

The double-bill is co-sponsored by MOXIE, California’s premier cannabis delivery service–whose products will be available to the audience, assuring they savor the full madness of Elfman’s wacko comedies. Elfman himself will be on hand for Q&A’s banging his drum loudly.
