Ah, those angry nude women in prison, forever teasing and titillating the male viewer to no extent, regardless of ultra-hideous plot formation, exhibition execution, or redeeming quality whatsoever…but what a way to spend 90 minutes, huh?

We venture over to the French production company Eurocine, who back in the 70’s made their name with a bunch of Nazi-exploitation flicks aimed at making all the fellas happy, and for the most part, those of who opted to suspend every conceivable bit of disillusion could check one of these movies out, and enjoy the scenery. Helga: She-Wolf Of Stilberg is certainly no exception to the sleaze-rule, with its numerous shots of war-footage and ample instances of female nudity and brutality (and interesting mix, if I might add). Malisa Longo plays the title character, in her skimpy outfit and thigh high-heeled boots, rains down some serious torture upon those in her confines – it’s gratuitous, its silly…and it’s pretty damned entertaining.

There’s not a whole lot to stack this release up against, however there are a few other films in this particular sub-genre that offer a bit more along the lines of (ahem) “character development” if you will. Look, there’s no candy-coating this one, but if you’re looking for award-winning acting and solid plot construction, might I direct you towards the Oscar-winners section of Netflix. However if you want to see naked chicks beating the crap out of each other in mindless gratuity, by all means, take the leap and check this one out.
