Popular new app My Idol is to blame for all those animated avatars your friends have been sharing on Facebook. The app puts your face onto a 3D model, and Poltergeist‘s iconic clown doll has just used it to create his own avatar, which puts a seriously creepy spin on the fun. Nightmares await!
In Poltergeist, which is to be released in 3D, Jared Harris plays Carrigan, a larger than life TV personality who left the world of academia behind to become the star host of basic cable TV show “Haunted House Cleaners.” Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, and Jane Adams also star. Gil Kenan directs.
The haunting begins on May 22, 2015.
