I really don’t know how I feel about talking about this movie at all, let alone giving you guys the info as to when and how you can buy it, but I guess sometimes pride must be swallowed for the good of the kids. Or something.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced a January 9th date for the DVD of Murder Set Pieces, one of the most infamous movies to show its face in our genre for a long while. Whether or not that means it’s actually a good movie is up to you, but we’ll all find out soon enough.
The story is about a fashion photographer (Sven Garrett) who doubles as a serial killer making his way through the hookers of Las Vegas. Though some thought it to be a rumor created to drive up hype, apparently it’s true that none of the major film developers in Hollywood would touch the film because it was too violent. Again, that does not mean it’s a good film … but you can’t deny your curiosity.
