Exclusive: What If Michael Myers Wore a Different Star Trek Mask?!

default-featured-image

I think it’s safe to say that everyone knows the iconic Michael Myers mask is actually a modified Captain Kirk mask from Don Post’s “Star Trek” line. Yes, Myers walks around wearing the whited-out face of William Shatner, which is pretty much the most terrifying thing one could possibly imagine.

But what if John Carpenter and his crew plucked a different “Star Trek” mask off the shelf on that fateful day? What if, say, they chose Captain Sulu rather than Captain Kirk? It could’ve easily happened, and the course of Halloween history would’ve forever been altered.

Though it’s hard to imagine Myers stalking and slashing in any mask other than the one he’s become synonymous with, we couldn’t help but ponder what he’d look like wearing the face of a different character from the original “Star Trek” series.

It’s just one of those things we had to see so we headed into the Dread Central time machine today to rewrite a little horror history.

So step aside, Captain Kirk. Because Michael Myers is adopting a new look for Halloween this year.
