Dexter Gets Game, Toys
We’ve been hearing rumblings about this for a while now; ironic that the staff member who does the story about it is likely the only one who’s never seen an episode of “Dexter” … Both a “Dexter” video game and line of toys are on their way in the coming months, proving just how well-received the crime thriller about a forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer has been.
Marc Ecko Entertainment signed a deal to design the “Dexter” game for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, despite the fact that the company’s not done much in gaming to date, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They’re actively seeking out a developer to work on the game as we speak.
In toy news, Action Figure reported a few days back that Bif Bang Pow have nabbed the action figure and bobblehead rights for the show, with plans on making as much as they can starting with figures and bobbleheads but likely moving on to more collectibles from there. Look for the first figures to show up in stores sometime this fall.
