MikeMendez.com is Now LIVE!
One of our favorite sick and twisted filmmakers Mike Mendez opened up his official site today with the launch of MikeMendez.com and there are dozens of reasons for you to point your browsers that way.
Best known for his demonic nunsploiation flick The Convent, one of the most kickass horror documentaries ever in Masters of Horror (no relation to the TV show), and of course, The Gravedancers (review here), Mike is quickly becoming a much needed go-to staple for our beloved genre.
The announcement came via Mike’s MySpace blog where Mendez had this to say, “I just wanted to let everyone know that my website, mikemendez.com, is alive and kicking. This has been a very long time coming, but I think the wait has been worth it. This site represents the last 15 years of my life and includes many never before seen items such as the ‘Sleepy Hollow’ trailer I did for Paramount ten years ago, as well as my horror special ‘Masters of Horror’ that I did for Showtime. You will find music videos, interviews, trailers, movie clips as well as some of my short films I did when I was a kid. Check back at this spot for any news and updates on my endeavors. I just wanted to take this chance to thank many of my collaborators over the years that have made this website possible.”
Do yourself a favor and get the hell over there pronto, if only to watch Masters of Horror hosted by Bruce Campbell!
Good luck with the site, Mike! It’s about time!
