Lionsgate Casts “Chucky” Star Fiona Dourif in ‘A Head Full of Ghosts’!

Fiona Dourif, known for her roles in Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky as well as the Chucky series, has joined the cast of Lionsgate’s A Head Full of Ghosts.
She’ll star alongside the previously announced ensemble of David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy), Rebecca Hall (The Night House), and Esmé Creed-Miles (Hanna), as well as Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet) and newcomer Hollie Hill-Pearson, reports Variety.
A Head Full of Ghosts follows a suburban family whose life is torn apart when their teenage daughter’s descent into madness becomes the subject of a reality show. Fifteen years later, her sister Merry faces her family’s dark past with a journalist uncovering the nature of the evil force that undid them.
Hill-Pearson will play young Merry, while Creed-Miles will portray the character as an adult. Breathnach will be her older teenage sister Marjorie; and Dourif and Harbour are playing the parents.
Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, whose credits include Goodnight Mommy and The Devil’s Bath, will write and direct. The story is based on Paul Tremblay’s play of the same name.
Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan will produce for Team Downey, alongside David Gambino, and Fifth Season. Additional producers include Daniel Dubiecki and Lara Alameddine of The Allegiance Theater. Scott O’Brien and Brandon Hill will oversee the project for Lionsgate.
