‘Cape Fear’: Teaser Trailer for Apple’s New Series from Producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg!
This summer, fear takes hold.
Apple has just released the first teaser trailer for Cape Fear, its remake of the classic 1991 thriller (also a remake!), premiering June 5 on Apple TV.
The new series hails from executive producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, and stars Javier Bardem (mother!), Amy Adams (Nightbitch), and Patrick Wilson (Insidious, The Conjuring).
Inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Scorsese and produced by Spielberg, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson) when Max Cady (Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison — and he wants vengeance.
The trailer has classic Hitchcock vibes throughout and promises a helluva thriller brimming with tension and even a tease of some gore! Watch the trailer above.
Joe Anders, Lily Collias, Malia Pyles and CCH Pounder round out the ensemble cast from the series directed by Academy Award nominee Morten Tyldum (Passengers).
Cape Fear was adapted for television by Nick Antosca (Channel Zero, Hannibal, Chucky).
The 10-episode limited series will make its global debut on Apple TV on Friday, June 5, 2026, with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through July 31, 2026.
