‘The Death Roll’ – Glen Powell’s Barnstorm Producing Crocodile Horror Film
Get ready to do The Death Roll, because Lionsgate has picked up the crocodile horror film, reports Deadline this morning. Actor Glen Powell (The Running Man) and Dan Cohen are also on board to produce via their Barnstorm banner.
A survival horror-thriller spec from Kas Graham & Rebecca Pollock, the film follows “a couple whose dream vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter the unexpected: an invasive 15-foot saltwater crocodile.”
Also producing are Bryan Haas (The Order) via his Chasing Epic Pictures. Barnstorm’s Ryan Schwartz will exec produce, with Chelsea Kujawa and Maria Ascanio overseeing for Lionsgate.
Rogue. Lake Placid and its many, many sequels. We can never have too many crocodile horror films, and The Death Roll sounds like it should have the bite to satisfy fans of the sub-genre.
