‘Deep Water’ – Renny Harlin’s Shark Film Rated R for Violent Content and Bloody Images

In a move that should shock no one, Renny Harlin‘s (Deep Blue Sea) upcoming shark attack film, Deep Water, has been rated R for violent content and bloody images.
Coming from the director of the sharksploitation fan favorite, Deep Blue Sea, I would expect nothing less than for him to turn the sea red.
In Deep Water, “A flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai goes down in the middle of the Pacific. After surviving the crash, the survivors soon discover they’re not alone and they must survive the shark infested waters.”
Pete Bridges and Shayne Armstrong & SP Krause penned the script.
The film stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island) and Molly Belle Wright.
Dive into Deep Water when it swims into theaters on May 1st via Magenta Light Studios.
