Bloodied Samara Weaving Lights Up in ‘Ready or Not 2’ BTS Featurette!
A new behind-the-scenes featurette reveals that Ready or Not 2: Here I Come picks up immediately after the first film, with Samara Weaving’s Grace – covered in blood – sitting on the steps and lighting a cigarette.
“One of the best compliments is ‘I don’t like horror movies, but I love Ready or Not‘,” exclaims Radio Silence co-director Tyler Gillett.
“Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side.”
Star Elijah Wood teases: “We have an insane death within the first five minutes of the film,” before the cast and crew go off about just how bloody the sequel is. “We have the giant blood canons,” adds Colin Penman, Department Head of Prosthetics and Makeup Artist.
In fact, the MPA has rated the sequel “R” for “strong bloody violence, gore, pervasive language and brief drug use.”
The games begin in theaters on March 20, 2026.
