Nine Inch Nails Is Teasing *Something* and Many Fans Are Missing It

Nine Inch Nails are nearing the end of their TRON: Ares original score and soundtrack tour, and it came with some disheartening news.
During the band’s concert in Tulsa over the weekend, Trent Reznor told the crowd that this run of shows may be their last, stating, “I don’t know if we’re gonna be touring anymore after this, but I’m proud of the show that we’re doing right now.”
Fans are losing their minds at the possibility that this could actually be it for Nine Inch Nails. However, it may ultimately prove to be a red herring.
The band has been handing out commemorative “tickets” during this final leg of the tour, and on them includes a seat number: SECTION 03 | AREA 16 | ROW 26
NIN, who have long been masters of the ARG – puzzle driven fan experiences that unfold across real world and digital spaces – appear to be teasing something coming and/or happening on March 16, 2026, which coincidentily is the final day of the tour. Could it be a new album? A Boys Noize collab or remix? Fans have been clammoring for the remix of Closer that the duo have been performing on tour.
I guess we’ll find out in a few weeks.
