‘IT’ Star Bill Hader to Make Feature Directorial Debut with Horror Film ‘They Know’
Bill Hader (It: Chapter Two) will make his feature directorial debut with the horror film They Know for MRC, Deadline reports.
The film centers on a divorced dad (Hader) who grows suspicious that his ex-wife is secretly dating a mysterious man who is having a strange influence on their children.
Hader will write and direct.
MRC will finance the project, based on an original story Hader created with his “Barry” collaborator Duffy Boudreau. Bob Graf and Hader are set to produce under the latter’s Hanarply banner, with Alyssa Donovan co-producing.
Bill Hader worked his way into the hearts of horror fans everywhere with his portrayal of Richie Tozier in It: Chapter Two. I for one can’t wait to see what he does with his first turn behind the camera on a genre feature.
Production is set to begin in Los Angeles this Spring.
