‘Fright Night: Aftermath’ – Creator Tom Holland Launches Kickstarter for New Novel Based on the Classic Vampire Film
Welcome to Fright Night! I’m a huge fan of the classic vampire film released by director Tom Holland (Child’s Play) in 1985. And if you’re like me, then get those fangs ready, because you’ll want to sink your teeth into the Kickstarter just launched by the filmmaker for a new Fright Night novel, Aftermath!
Fright Night: Aftermath will be the second novel based on the film that spawned a sequel and remake in 2011 with Colin Farrell. It follows Fright Night: Origins, which became a best seller on Amazon.
Co-written by Jack Ulrich, the novels continue the story of characters Charlie, Amy, and Peter, whom we first met in the original film after Charlie discovers a vampire living next door to him.
Backers will receive an edition of Fright Night: Aftermath signed by Holland and Ulrich.
Holland also notes that he and Ulrich have already begun work on a third Fright Night novel, tentatively titled Fright Night: Billy’s Bones.
