Uncork’d Nabs ‘The Room Below’ With ‘Evil Dead Rise’ Star Alyssa Sutherland
Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired North American distro rights to The Room Below, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Hide and Seek) and Evil Dead Rise’s Alyssa Sutherland, reports Deadline out of EFM.
In the film: “After losing her son to cancer, a grieving mother with a Creature in her home befriends another boy to replace her dead son, but her plans unravel when a retired detective starts searching for the missing child.”
The film also stars Gilbert Bradman, Goran D Kleut, Lauren Grimson, Tristan McKinnon and Bobby Gilchrist.
Film is produced by Lunar Pictures in association with Valecroft, Tetrad Studios, Headgear Films, CME and MIK Studios.
