‘Deep Water’ Trailer – ‘Deep Blue Sea’ Director Renny Harlin Swimming With Sharks Again
Filmmaker Renny Harlin just wrapped his Strangers trilogy with Chapter 3 now in theaters. With that experiment over, it looks like the Deep Blue Sea director will be returning to something that has worked for him quite well in the past…sharks. See what I mean in the trailer below for Harlin’s next feature, Deep Water.
In Deep Water, “A flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai goes down in the middle of the Pacific. After surviving the crash, the survivors soon discover they’re not alone and they must survive the shark infested waters.”
The film stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island) and Molly Belle Wright.
Harlin’s Deep Blue Sea remains one of the most entertaining sharksploitation films there is. Let’s hope that the director can return some of that bite.
