Sophie Wilde Set to Encounter Aliens in ‘Soon You Will Be Gone and Possibly Eaten’ from ‘Hellraiser’ Reboot Scribes!

Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me) has been cast to star in the sci-fi thriller, Soon You Will Be Gone and Possibly Eaten, reports Deadline today. How’s that for a title? The actress blew me away with her performance in Talk to Me, and I’m thrilled to see her getting more roles in the genre.
Even more exciting? The project hails from director Egor Abramenko (Altar, Sputnik), with a script from Luke Piotrowski and Ben Collins, the scribes behind Hulu’s magnificent Hellraiser reboot!
Basked on a short story by Nick Antosca (“Channel Zero”), the film follows Rob and Sabile, a young engaged couple, who head to a secluded mountain resort to take their vows and step into the new chapter of their shared lives. What was planned as a joyous wedding attended by family members takes a different turn when unexpected guests crash the ceremony.
Anton, who will be financing and handling world rights, is launching the film ahead of next week’s European Film Market (EFM). Domestic sales are being handled by Anton, Anonymous Content and WME Independent.
The film will be produced by Sébastien Raybaud (Greenland 2) for Anton, Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund for Eat the Cat (Murdaugh: A Death in the Family), Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks for Divide/Conquer (M3GAN) and Dawn Olmstead and Nick Shumaker for Anonymous Content. Anonymous Content’s David Levine (Nickel Boys) and Garrett Kemble are exec producers.
Said Egor Abramenko, “I was blown away by Nick Antosca’s short story. From the get-go, it was a very fresh take on the alien genre, which is a really rare thing.”
Production on Soon You Will Be Gone and Possibly Eaten is set to begin this Spring.
