‘The Housemaid’ Brings the Madness to Digital Today

We simply do not have enough good erotic thrillers these days. That’s an itch that Paul Feig‘s The Housemaid scratched for audiences this past December, raking in over $250 million worldwide. If you missed the batshit film, you can now watch it at home on digital today via Lionsgate!
Based on the book by Freida McFadden and adapted by Rebecca Sonnenshine, the film stars Sydney Sweeney as Millie, a woman on probation and in desperate need of a job. Her prayers are answered in the guise of Nina (Amanda Seyfried), the wife of a rich husband looking for a live-in nanny. The opportunity seems too good to be true…and it soon turns out to be once Nina begins displaying erratic behavior. Things only get worse once Millie finds herself falling for Nina’s husband, leading to betrayal, madness, and murder.
I personally found the film to be a wild ride, full of twists, turns, and Seyfried and Sweeney going at each other in ways that’ll have you cackling.
So, put on some PJs, grab the popcorn, and settle in for some entertaining insanity with The Housemaid, now on digital.
