Woody Harrelson and Kristen Stewart are together in the first image of French writer-director Quentin Dupieux’s (Rubber) Full Phil. While several have likened the project to Mike White’s enduring White Lotus, Dupieux shared with Variety that the project is “more like Emily in Paris in hell — a fever dream, a nightmare version of it.”

The official synopsis reads: “A rich American industrialist’s Paris trip with his estranged daughter Madeleine goes awry when French food, a vintage horror movie, and a meddling hotel worker interfere with their plans.”

Dupieux additionally shared, “Kristen and Woody’s film is mixed with a 1950s horror film. It’s done in a very playful way. I see these conceptual films like amusement parks. The film takes us on emotional, comical, and fantastical rides.”

Of Rubber, we wrote, “The humor is incredibly witty. The flick constantly reminds the audience that the filmmakers are in on the joke. And the results are inspired. Everything from the sound design to the editing, writing, and direction work together to make this a feature you won’t soon forget.”

Full Phil’s cast also includes Charlotte Le Bon, Emma Mackey, Nassim Lyes, Tim Heidecker, and Eric Wareheim. So, in other words, sign us up. Full Phil is currently in post-production, and Studiocanal plans to launch sales at the European Film Market in Berlin this month.
