Synapse Films and Red Shirt Pictures Reveal Massive 4K UHD Slate!

'Fright Night Part II' 4K UHD Artwork Reveal

Synapse Films and Red Shirt Pictures have unveiled new artwork and release details for a massive slate of upcoming 4K UHD titles, highlighted by new Dolby Vision masters and filmmaker-supervised restorations, writes @disc_connected on X.

The big highlights are the previously announced Fright Night Part 2 and the long-awaited Hearts of Darkness: The Making of The Final Friday, the Michael Felsher-directed doc that’s an in-depth look into the making of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), the controversial ninth installment in the Friday the 13th film series.

  • Fright Night Part 2 — Coming to 4K UHD in 2026 with a brand-new Dolby Vision master supervised by the film’s director of photography. Newly commissioned artwork was recently revealed by Michael Felsher on YouTube, featuring three different art options, with confirmation that the original theatrical artwork will also be available on the sleeve.
  • Frankenhooker — 4K UHD release with a new Dolby Vision master. Coming soon.
  • Prom Night — 4K UHD release featuring a new Dolby Vision master and Dolby Atmos audio. Coming soon.
  • Angel of H.E.A.T — 4K UHD release in conjunction with Red Shirt Pictures. Coming soon.
  • Hearts of Darkness: The Making of The Final Friday — Arriving on 4K UHD in partnership with Red Shirt Pictures. Coming soon.
  • Intruder — 4K UHD release sourced from the original camera negative with a new Dolby Vision master and exclusive new special features. Coming in 2026.
  • Street Trash — 4K UHD release with a new Dolby Vision master supervised by the director of photography. Coming in 2026.
  • Hunter’s Blood — 4K UHD release in conjunction with Red Shirt Pictures, featuring a new Dolby Vision master. Coming in 2026.
