Oscar Nominee Amy Madigan (‘Weapons’) Boards Netflix’s ‘All the Sinners Bleed’ Series
Amy Madigan, who became an instant horror icon with her Oscar-nominated performance as Aunt Gladys in Weapons, is set to guest star in the Netflix series adaptation of the S.A Crosby novel All the Sinners Bleed, Variety reports.
In the series, “Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, the first Black Sheriff (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù) in a small Bible Belt county must lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God.”
Madigan will appear opposite previously announced series lead Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù and series regulars John Douglas Thompson, Nicole Beharie, Daniel Ezra, Andrea Cortés, Murray Bartlett, and Leila George.
Recurring cast members include Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Donald Elise Watkins, Mackenzie Astin, Jordan M. Cox, Cullen Moss, Angus O’Brien, Cranston Johnson, Christopher Matthew Cook, Christopher Thornton, and Bill Oberst Jr.
Madigan will appear in the role of Scarlett Cunningham.
All the Sinners Bleed is currently in production in Atlanta.
