Red Owl’s ‘EX’ Combines ‘Invasion of the Body Snatchers’ With ‘Under the Skin’ [Trailer]
Red Owl is introducing EX to buyers at the forthcoming EFM in Berlin.
They hype the film as “toxic love turns into cosmic nightmare” and describe it as Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Under the Skin, promising a heavy sci-fi element to this thriller.
In the film,
“Clara retreats alone to her beach house to escape the chaos of her past, but her peace shatters when Tomás—her toxic ex-lover—appears at her door in the middle of a strange northern-lights storm. What begins as an uneasy reunion escalates into a nightmarish loop of violence, desire, and resurrection. Every time she kills him, he comes back.
