‘Noseeums’ Trailer Mixes ‘Candyman’ and ‘Get Out’
Described as “Get Out meets Candyman,” ComingSoon debuts the official trailer for the upcoming Southern Gothic horror Noseeums (No-See-Ums).
In the film from director Raven DeShay Carter, what begins as a spring break getaway spirals into a nightmare when something ancient and vengeful awakens beneath the surface, and a past that refuses to stay dead.
“Fresh from her toxic relationship, a curious college student, Ember, reluctantly agrees to a weekend trip with her roommate and wealthy white ‘friends’ to a secluded lake house in the Florida backwoods,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “Once she arrives at this unsettling land, it becomes familiar as she unearths troubled spirits that owned it and seeks to reclaim it.”
Noseeums had its world premiere at Frightfest 2025 in London.
It is available to rent or own on digital and VOD platforms starting on February 27, 2026.
