‘The Conjuring: First Communion’ Prequel Summons September 10, 2027, Release Date!

BREAKING: It was announced today that The Conjuring: First Communion will be opening in theaters on September 10, 2027, from Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.
We still don’t know much about The Conjuring: First Communion, other than the franchise prequel will this time be directed by Rodrigue Huart, from a script by Richard Naing & Ian Goldberg.
No word yet on if Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga’s The Warrens will be making a return.
As far as I can recall, the Conjuring Universe includes The Conjuring (2013; set 1971), Annabelle (2014; set 1967), The Conjuring 2 (2016; set 1977), Annabelle: Creation (2017; set 1943 and 1955), The Nun (2018; set 1952), The Curse of La Llorona (2019; set 1973), Annabelle Comes Home (2019; set 1972), The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021; set 1981), The Nun II (2023; set 1956), and The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025; set 1986).
If my count is correct (I hope!), this would make 11 movies, more than the entire A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, and nipping on the heels of Friday the 13th, which has been stagnant since 2009.
The Conjuring films hail from Peter Safran Company and Atomic Monster.
