Hilarious ‘Send Help’ Clip Has Rachel McAdams Vibing With Being Trapped on an Island

We’re only a few weeks out from 20th Century Studios’ first horror offering of the year, Send Help, which follows Rachel McAdams as a verbally abused employee who turns the tables on her boss (Dylan O’Brien) and torments him on an island. It looks really, really fun. And this clip really sets the tone.
In this first look at the film, O’Brien’s Bradley Preston is clearly at his wits’ end as we learn the duo have been trapped on an island for two weeks. McAdams‘ character comically struts into the scene, also stranded but unbothered and fully vibing with the situation – something foreshadowed in this spot that teased her obsession with the show “Survivor”.
Sam Raimi (Evil Dead series, Drag Me to Hell) directs from a screenplay by Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th 2009).
Send Help crashes into theaters on January 30.
In the film, two colleagues find themselves stranded on a deserted island after they are the only survivors of a plane crash. They must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it is an unsettling and darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
Edyll Ismail (“La Brea”), Dennis Haysbert (“24”), Xavier Samuel (The Loves Ones), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (“Thai Cave Rescue”), and Emma Raimi (Sam Raimi’s daughter), and Bruce Campbell also star.
Send Help is rated “R” for “strong/bloody violence and language.”
