Jessica Rothe & Charlie Barnett Resurrect Their Child in ‘Imposters’ [SXSW]
We just shared your first-ever look at Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s Family Movie, and now we’ve got all the deets and an image from Caleb J. Phillips‘s hotly anticipated horror thriller Imposters, also premiering at this March’s SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
The first photo shows stars Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) and Charlie Barnett (“Russian Doll”) as a couple whose baby boy is taken, and the desperate mother learns of a way to bring him back. However, her husband begins to suspect that what she returned with isn’t their son.
Imposters sounds like one of its inspirations is clearly Stephen King’s “Pet Sematary”!
Yul Vazquez, Bates Wilder, Luisina Quarleri, Thomas Parobek, Ian Lyons, Taylor Karin, Lee Bennett, and Declan Bennett also star.
Interestingly, Hell House LLC franchise producer Joe Bandelli is part of the producing team with Thomas Bond and Sara Seligman.
Imposters will have its World Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival this March.
