‘Primate’ Star Shares Hilarious BTS Photos With Her Killer Chimp Co-Star!
Horror is starting with a bang after Paramount saw their killer chimp movie Primate open to an impressive $11.3M+ to go along with positive critic reviews and word-of-mouth.
The movie stars Johnny Sequoyah as Lucy, who must survive the night when her family’s adopted chimpanzee, Ben, starts acting violently in the horror film.
Primate thrives off its practical effects, and this includes the very real chimpanzee brought to life using a mix of animatronics and man-in-suit!
While Ben’s face was operated by the effects team, the actual monkey was portrayed by movement specialist Miguel Torres Umba.
After the killer box office opening, Sequoyah shared on socials several incredible, never-before-seen BTS photos of her with her cast and crew going bananas, including a handful with Umba in the monkey costume.
