#SDCC14: First Tusk Still Talks Things Out; Release News!

To further get you cats pumped for Kevin’s Smith’s Tusk, which will be having its trailer premiere at next week’s San Diego Comic-Con, A24 Films has released the first still from the flick, which features your first look at stars Justin Long and Michael Parks.

Tusk will take to Hall H on Friday, July 25th, from 6:35-8:05 pm, and the presentation will feature Smith along with stars Genesis Rodriguez and Haley Joel Osment. The event even has a name – “The Musk of Tusk: An Evening With Kevin Smith.”

Look for the flick in theatres on September 19, 2014.

Tusk, written and directed by Smith and born out of one of his immensely popular SModcasts, stars Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, and Michael Parks. In the horror film Long plays a journalist who finds the story of a lifetime in Mr. Howe (Parks), a worldwide adventurer with amazing tales and a curious penchant for walruses.

Producers are Sam Englebardt, William D. Johnson, and David Greathouse for Demarest and Shannon McIntosh for Smith’s SModcast Pictures banner. Jennifer Schwalbach and XYZ’s Nate Bolotin are executive producers.
