‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ Trailer – It’s Double or Nothing for Samara Weaving In a Deadly New Game [Watch]
Bloody horror comedy Ready or Not thrilled audiences everywhere when it released in 2019. Samara Weaving’s character of Grace instantly became an iconic final girl as a woman forced to participate in a tooth and nail fight to the death with the one percent. Since then, memes from the film have flooded the internet, the most popular featuring Grace sitting on those stairs, worn to hell and smoking a cigarette. It was inevitable we’d get a sequel. Today, we finally have a trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and oh, does it look like a bloody blast.
Written by original scribes Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, Ready or Not 2 picks up moments after Grace (Samara Weaving) finishes off the Le Domas family. She may have won the battle, but the war has only just begun. Grace discovers she’s reached the next level of the deadly game, this time paired with her estranged sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton). Together, the two must survive being hunted by four bloodthirsty families. Whoever wins will claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Game on!

If this trailer proves anything, it’s that Samara Weaving has one killer scream (but we already knew that). In all seriousness, Ready or Not 2 looks to capture the vicious humor of the first film, this time pitting Grace against much more lethal opponents. In addition, we get a good look at the banter we can expect between Weaving and Newton that has me giddy for more.
The film also stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Elijah Wood (Cooties), Sean Hatosy (The Faculty), Néstor Carbonell (Bates Motel), Kevin Durand (Abigail), Olivia Cheng (The Stand), and David Cronenberg (The Fly).
Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin of Radio Silence (Scream VI) return to direct.
It’s double or nothing when Ready or Not 2: Here I Come brings a new game to theaters on April 10, 2026 from Fox Searchlight Pictures.
