Lin Shaye Shuts Down Rumors ‘Insidious 6’ Is the Last of the Series: “We are just getting started!”
Lin Shaye is more intimately tied to the Insidious series than any other actor. She has appeared in five films to date, with a future appearance in the presently untitled sixth film already in the can. So, when rumors surfaced that Insidious 6 was the final film in the series and Shaye’s final picture, we collectively gasped.
Fortunately, we have an update straight from the source that shuts down both of those claims. Shaye, unimpressed by the spread of misinformation, took to social media to address the rumors about her career path and the Insidious franchise. You can see her triumphant reply below.
It’s great to hear that Shaye is showing no signs of slowing down. She’s a horror genre mainstay and an accomplished comedic actor with a series of unforgettable turns in Farrelly brothers films and standout showings in cult classics like the stoner comedy Detroit Rock City.
