‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ Featurette: Go Behind the Scenes of the Hotly Anticipated Sequel
Five Nights at Freddy’s was the highest-grossing horror film of 2023. So, it’s no great surprise that a sequel is already gearing up to hit theaters later this year. With the release date looming, we’re starting to see a flurry of promotional material, the latest of which is a behind-the-scenes featurette that sees the cast and crew reacting to the marionette ghost, who will likely function as the film’s primary antagonist.
The eerie specter first appeared in the video game Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and later featured in a post-credits tease at the end of the first feature film adaptation.

The sequel features returning cast members Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard. New additions to the lineup include Freddy Carter, Theodus Crane, Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Skeet Ulrich.
Emma Tammi, who directed the first series installment, is back at the helm of the upcoming sequel. Original co-writer Scott Cawthon is also returning, this time as the sole screenwriter.
