Full Lineup Revealed For This Year’s FrightFest Halloween Event

The full lineup for this year’s FrightFest Halloween event has just been revealed on the official FrightFest website, and it sounds like FrightFest Halloween 2025 is going to be an event horror fans don’t want to miss!
As usual, FrightFest Halloween will run for two days this year, beginning on October 31 and ending on November 1. The opening film is the UK premiere of the killer chimp film Primate, from director Johannes Roberts, who also directed 47 Meters Down, The Strangers: Prey at Night, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. Primate received its world premiere at Fantastic Fest last month, and the cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Gia Hunte, Jessica Alexander, Miguel Torres Umba, and Oscar-winner Troy Kotsur.
After Primate, the long-awaited sequel Deathgasm II: Goremageddon and Every Heavy Thing will both receive their UK premieres at the event, rounding off the first day.
A total of six films will then be screened on Saturday, with the first being Dolly, which stars professional wrestler Max the Impaler as a monster who kidnaps a young girl and tries to raise her as his own deep in the woods.
The films set to be screened on Saturday in order are Affection, Posthouse, The Turkish Coffee Table, the UK premiere of director Colin Minihan’s Coyotes, and the UK premiere of Mag Mag. It is also worth noting that Affection stars Jessica Rothe, who is known for playing Theresa “Tree” Gelbman in Blumhouse’s Happy Death Day Franchise, so the film clearly has some strong talent involved.
