Hulu’s ‘Stay’ Trailer: There’s No Escape in Huluween Haunter [Watch]

For over five years, Hulu has given horror fans even more reason to be excited about spooky season with its annual streaming event, Huluween. During this time, you’ll find a wide range of new genre films premiering on the streamer. This year, the event looks to kick off with writer/director Jas Summers’ supernatural haunter, Stay.
Read the Synopsis:
Kiara (Megalyn Echikunwoke), a PhD author of African spirituality, and Miles (Mo McRae), a former MMA fighter, are facing the end of their once beautiful marriage. As it appears matters can’t get any worse in their lives, they begin to encounter soul-shaking supernatural forces and go from fighting one another to fighting for their lives. The key to survival lies within their ability to conquer their darkest moments with courage and love.
Now, Watch the Trailer:
Haunted mirrors. Seances. A house that won’t let you leave. Summers’ film looks to join Together on the list of this year’s relationship horror with a haunter that will likely conjure memories of lockdown for some couples. We often joke that marriage can feel like a sort of prison. It appears Stay will capitalize on that, in this case literally trapping a struggling pair together in their home.
Stay will lead the annual Huluween programming when it premieres on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on October 8th. You can also catch it at the New Orleans Film Festival on October 25th.
