Much-Anticipated Reboot of Beloved ‘90s Slasher Picture Debuts New One Sheet

Though it may not have the universal acclaim of more celebrated counterparts like Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer is nonetheless an effective ‘90s slasher film. It serves up palpable tension, a recognizable cast, and a memorable antagonist. Perhaps that’s why the film is getting the reboot treatment. Speaking of, the upcoming redux is gearing up to bow exclusively in theaters on July 18, 2025. Because we know that’s a long time to wait, we have a newly released one-sheet to share with you right now.
You can scope it directly below.

If the one sheet looks vaguely familiar, that may be because it bears certain similarities to various one sheets for I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. Both of the aforementioned sequels have one (or more) poster renderings featuring an outline of the Fisherman juxtaposed alongside a photo of the ensemble cast.
The newly released poster art isn’t the only similarity to past franchise installments. The film will also feature the return of Freddie Prinze Jr. as Ray and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Julie. Both franchise mainstays were absent from the 2006 threequel I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. The characters will rejoin the narrative in the present, with a fresh crop of teens winding up in a similar predicament and looking for guidance from a couple of old pros.
Additional cast members include Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Sarah Pidgeon.
The setup for this hotly anticipated redux goes as follows:
When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. One year later, the past comes back to haunt them as they learn someone knows what they did last summer. Stalked by a mysterious killer, they soon seek help from two survivors of the legendary Southport massacre of 1997.
There you have it, dear reader, your first look at the brand new poster art for the upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer redux. Make sure to let us know what you think of this latest rendering in the comments section below.
