‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ Trailer Teases The Final Chapter of The Epic Horror Series
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and the upcoming release of The Conjuring: Last Rites marks the end of an era. The fourth entry in The Conjuring series will supposedly be the last, meaning this is the last we’ll see of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as our favorite horror superheroes. Ahead of its September release, Warner Bros. has released the first official teaser to give us a taste of the final chapter in the Warrens’ cinematic journey.
Michael Chaves returns to direct The Conjuring: Last Rites, which chronicles the Warrens’ infamous Smurl case from 1986.

Farmiga and Wilson star alongside Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Steve Coulter, Rebecca Calder, Elliot Cowan, Kíla Lord Cassidy, Beau Gadsdon, John Brotherton, and Shannon Kook.
Chaves directs from a screenplay by Ian Goldberg & Richard Naing and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and a story by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick & James Wan. Wan and Peter Safran produce the fourth and final The Conjuring film. Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Natalia Safran, John Rickard, Hans Ritter, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick serve as executive producers.
The Conjuring: Last Rites comes exclusively to theaters and IMAX on September 5, 2025, from Warner Bros. Pictures.
