If you’ve never seen the short film Fist of Jesus, believe us when we say you’ll be thanking god once you do. The people behind it are looking to take their stellar short into feature film territory via Kickstarter with Once Upon a Time in Jerusalem.

What is Fist of Jesus, you ask? Simply put, it’s an outrageously bloody comedy feature about a Jesus (and a Judas) who kick butt in a steampunk world full of zombies, mutants, and sinners. In short… it’s the good stuff!

Synopsis
After wiping out an entire village whilst trying to raise Lazarus, Jesus decides to go to the Oracle of Delphos for advice. The witches reveal to him that he must go on a perilous journey. He recruits twelve ruthless mercenaries and sets off, ready to burn his name into the pages of history.
