Two More Actors Join CBS’s Extant

One thing’s for sure about CBS’s upcoming new series “Extant”: its cast is one of the best looking on TV! Joining star Halle Berry are the recently announced Goran Visnjic, playing Berry’s husband, and Michael O’Neill. Read on for the details.
As you’ll see below, the network broke the news on its Twitter feed.
Visnjic is best known as Dr. Luka Kovac on “ER” and also appeared in films The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and K-11. Transformers star O’Neill most recently appeared in Dallas Buyers Club and “Rectify.”
“Extant” will debut on Wednesday, July 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

Synopsis:
“EXTANT” is a mystery thriller about a female astronaut, Molly (Halle Berry), who is trying to reconnect with her family when she returns after a year in outer space. Her experiences lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.
Camryn Manheim plays Sam Barton, Molly’s best friend. “Extant” is a co-production of CBS Television Studios and Amblin Television. Steven Spielberg, Greg Walker, Mickey Fisher, who wrote the script, Brooklyn Weaver, Justin Falvey, and Darryl Frank will serve as executive producers. Halle Berry will serve as co-executive producer.
