‘Ghost Game’ Trailer: There’s No Escaping Dread’s Shocking New Halloween Chiller

Ghost Game

Epic Pictures’ specialty horror label, DREAD, is set to terrify audiences with its latest release, Ghost Game. And we’ve got its new trailer to prove it. The film follows a couple whose internet challenge goes tragically wrong as they venture into a haunted house filled with unhappy forces of evil. The film will have a limited theatrical run starting October 18, with video-on-demand (VOD) rentals and purchases available from October 22. Additionally, horror fans can look forward to a Blu-ray release starting December 10!

This new chiller marks Jill Gevargizian’s second directorial feature, and the audience’s anticipation is palpable as the talented director first gained recognition for her acclaimed debut, The Stylist. Ghost Game premiered earlier this year at Panic Fest 2024, where her work earned her the audience award for Best Director!

Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald praised Gevargizian’s innovative filmmaking, stating, “Jill’s debut film THE STYLIST was nothing short of transformative, a truly one-of-a-kind experience. So, I knew she’d infuse GHOST GAME with her signature spine-tingling brilliance. Her vision is as daring as it is haunting, and we can’t wait for audiences to be utterly captivated by this electrifying DREAD original.”

Director Jill Gevargizian expressed her excitement about combining two classic horror genres in Ghost Game, stating, “It was a dream to tackle a home invasion thriller mixed with a classic haunted house film. Ghost Game is the kind of film that keeps you on your toes, peeling back layer after layer until the very last frame.”

In the film, a couple participating in an internet challenge must remain undetected in a stranger’s home, leading them to an infamous haunted house where they experience a series of terrifying events as they witness a family descending into madness.
