Summer is approaching and with that comes an overwhelming urge to watch a good old-fashioned shark horror movie. If you feel like you’ve seen everything possible on the streaming services, director Hayley Easton Street has something new for you with her film Something In The Water. Here, a wedding party gets more than they bargained for when they head into shark-infested waters…
In Something In The Water:
Five friends reunite for a wedding in the Caribbean. The day before the ceremony they go out on a boat to party and accidentally head into shark-infested waters. Now they must face their fears and fight for survival in the open waters.
In our exclusive clip, Cam, armed with only a knife, faces off with a shark in the middle of the ocean.

This is Street’s feature film debut as a director, but she’s no stranger to the film industry. Previously, she served as the art director on blockbuster titles such as Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, the latest Venom film, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Earlier in her career, she also worked as a 3D art and visual effects specialist.
Hiftu Quasem (Prime’s Ten Percent), Lauren Lyle (Outlander), Natalie Mitson (No Limit), Nicole Rieko Setsuko, and Ellouise Shakespeare-Hart star in the new sharksploitation film.
Something In The Water is out now in theaters and on digital.
