Who better to make a movie than film festival organizers? The folks at the Everybody Dies Horror Film Fest have decided to take their knowledge of filmmaking and create their own short, Everybody Dies at Scarycon.
The project is currently in the fundraising phase with an Indiegogo campaign. Get all the info you need at the official Off Set Pictures website, “like” Everybody Dies at Scarycon on Facebook and follow Everybody Dies at Scarycon on Twitter (@scarycon).
From the Press Release
For three years, the Everybody Dies Horror Film Festival has proudly presented the best in independent horror films to a huge audience of scary movie fans. Now, inspired by the amazing filmmakers who have provided the content for Orange County, California’s only horror film festival, the crew behind the scenes are ready to capture the fun and terrifying tone that they’ve brought to their festival in their very own movie, Everybody Dies at Scarycon.
It’s a tale about a scary movie director, Eddie Desmond, who, while attending a fan convention, has a nervous breakdown and announces he will never make another horror flick. But when he gets back to his hotel room, the characters from his movies come to life and decide they’re not ready for their director to be done with them.
In true Everybody Dies fashion, it will be bloody, it will be funny, it will be disturbing!
