Strange Kids Club has revealed its final October art print release, and not only does it pay tribute to both George Romero and Stephen King, but it also promises: “The Most Fun You’ll Ever Have… BEING SCARED!!”
From the Press Release:
Hot off the heels of our Night of the Demons screen print, Strange Kids Club is excited to announce our final October art print release, paying tribute to two of the most recognizable “Masters of Terror” and their classic cinematic collaboration: CREEPSHOW. It will be available for purchase on Thursday, October 24th, at 11:45 am CT on the Strange Kids Club website. Beginning at 11:45, you can click here to order.
Featuring artwork by Portugal-based illustrator Zé Burnay, one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and who has a great eye for detail, this digital print brings together the horrific sideshows of both the original Creepshow as well as its direct sequel, Creepshow 2, with a few easter eggs fans of either film will be sure to appreciate.
“I’ve been in love with EC comics ever since I first found some Gladstone reprints in a small shop in London many years ago,” says Burnay. “Both Romero and King are kings of horror in my book [and] having them do a movie together inspired by EC comics… how could that movie not be the best thing EVER?!”
Limited to only 50 pieces, each print measures 18″x24″ and costs $25.
