It’s an eclectic list that includes first-time feature directors like Dennison Ramalho, Isaac Ezban, and Isaac Ezban along with others we’ve been looking forward to seeing more from such as Adrian Garcia Bogliano (Cold Sweat; Penumbra; Here Comes the Devil), Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead), and Gustavo Hernández Ibáñez (La Casa Muda), plus many more.

The market runs September 19th-21st, 2013, in Austin, Texas. Fantastic Fest runs September 19th-26th.

Fantastic Market | Mercado Fantastico Description:
The goal of the market is to connect international film projects with potential production partners, sales agents, and distributors. It will highlight new genre narrative projects from across the world with a particular emphasis on Latin filmmakers from Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and the United States. The public response to Fantastic Market’s call for submissions was astounding; the selected projects represent a diverse mix of international talent, including many Fantastic Fest veterans. Seven of the 16 selected projects propose to film, at least partially, in Texas. Full details about each project are available on the Fantastic Market | Mercado Fantastico website.
