Do you feel like this week could use some more Denzel Washington? Because I have noticed a deficit, and it sucks. I hit the internet streets to see if I could fix the problem and uncovered something interesting. It turns out that one of our favorite Denzel thrillers has appeared on a different streamer. In the film,
“For the past year, rookie CIA agent Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) has been eager to prove himself while cooling his heels at an inactive South African post. He gets the chance when Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), a turncoat operative, is brought to Weston’s safe house for debriefing. But soon after Frost’s arrival, mercenaries attack, and Weston and Frost barely escape with their lives. The two men must join forces and try to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants them dead.”
Safe House was directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by David Guggenheim. It stars Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds, Robert Patrick, Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, and Liam Cunningham.
People love Denzel Washington and will take any excuse to watch him work. However, many fans of the film also feel that he inspired Ryan Reynolds to step it up and give one of the most grounded performances of his career.

I think it’s funny people are saying Denzel inspired Ryan Reynolds to give one of his strongest performances. He was so excited that he accidentally hit our favorite actor in the eye twice while filming a scene. I can’t even imagine being the person who injured Denzel Washington. However, the two actors seem able to laugh about it now.
