People have shown up this week for a Courteney Cox-led horror comedy as it wraps up its second season. Stans have caused Shining Vale. to claim the title of #1 horror series on Starz, and helped it crack the top #10 on Hulu (via the Starz premium add-on). Shining Vale was created by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan. It stars Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, Dylan Gage, and Mira Sorvino. The second season finale dropped today. All 16 episodes of the show are available on Starz.
While Gale Weathers fans are definitely most of the show’s demographic, viewers are also falling for the entire cast instead of focusing solely on Courteney Cox.

I love that there are other horror roles to see Courteney Cox in aside from Scream. Not only are fans currently pissed at the people who own the rights to the franchise, but Gale’s time was probably about to run out. After all, how many run-ins with Ghostface can a woman survive?
