“In December 2004, close-knit family Maria (Naomi Watts), Henry (Ewan McGregor), and their three sons begin their winter vacation in Thailand. The Impossible is directed by J. A. Bayona. The screenplay was written by Sergio G. Sánchez. The two previously collaborated on The Orphanage. They also worked together on Marrowbone, but Sánchez took the director’s seat, with Bayona serving as a producer on the project.

The movie stars Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, Tom Holland, Samuel Joslin, Oaklee Pendergast, and Geraldine Chaplin. This movie was Tom Holland’s second film role. This means the film will also make you feel old while stressing you out for all the other reasons.
The Impossible is based on the harrowing true story of a family that survived the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. The event was considered The Deadliest Tsunami in history and wiped away multiple towns while claiming over 200,000 lives.
