‘Terrifier 3’: Check Out The Sickening New Poster In High Definition

Terrifier

Last week, we shared new plot details and an official release date for Damien Leone’s forthcoming Terrifier 3. Audiences can expect to check out Art the Clown’s Christmas shenanigans on October 25 of next year. More like “slay bells,” am I right? Now, we’re happy to share the first official poster for Terrifier 3 here. Check it out below:

Bloody Disgusting, attached to the distribution of Terrifier 3, has promised fans that they will get a chance to check out a teaser trailer very soon. Coinciding with the re-release of Terrifier 2 (our review here) this October, fans there were treated to an exclusive sneak preview in theaters.

In the sequel, Art the Clown is going to be unleashed on the poor residents of Miles County as they drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve. It looks to be a bold reinvention for the franchise, one that has already evolved considerably in just two entries. This isn’t your grandmother’s slasher movie, that’s for sure.

Director Damien Leone is also adroitly aware of fan expectations, having noted, “We’re going to have a bigger budget. We’re shooting in anamorphic widescreen, so I want it to feel more like an old-school John Carpenter movie. It’s going to still have that epic feel of part two, but now have the tone of part one with Christmas.”

Leone continues to share how Terrifier 3 will feel like a “different beast” altogether, targeting what made fans fall in love with the first two while still offering up something new. Right now, it looks like a present worth unwrapping, with Art the Clown guaranteeing everything but a silent night. That’s the last of my Christmas puns, I swear it.

You can catch the first Terrifier on both Prime Video and Peacock, and the box-office sensation Terrifier 2 is streaming on Prime Video, too. Additionally, you can snag a copy of the first Terrifier on Blu-ray here.

What do you think? How cool is that poster for Terrifier 3? Will you be dreaming of a red Christmas? I lied– I wasn’t done. Anywho, let me know over on Twitter @Chadiscollins.
