About the film:

From visionary filmmaker Robert Eggers comes Nosferatu, a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman in 19th-century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.

According to The Prague Reporter, the production “quietly wrapped filming in Prague on May 19 after a three-month shoot.” The website also reports that “the film had been shot in color, with a look reminiscent of 19th-century Romanticism.”

Bill Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, Nicholas Hoult, Emma Corrin, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Simon McBurney, and Ralph Ineson will all star in the feature, which has been languishing in development hell for nearly a decade. Skarsgard will likely be portraying the title role, AKA Count Orlok.
